ABOUT THE ARTIST
Foks Lo has been creating films and cinematic photography since her childhood, releasing her first short film at 14 years old. She won her first writing award in 2011, and was published in Scholastic in 2014. She has since been published in over thirty publications, and her work has screened at multiple film festivals. She has worked with many brands and businesses, and in 2026 shot her fourth year at NYFW.
In 2019 Foks formed the film collective Cinema Criminals, a creative collective with a goal of sharing untold stories. She has been tattooing and illustrating in tandem since 2015 and she launched her own studio in 2025 called Hush Money NYC.
In October 2020, Foks debuted at a film festival and was nominated in the category Best Use of Frame. In 2023, Foks won Best International Women's Short Film for her film FLEA.
In 2021, Foks Lo wrote and debuted her musical album "The Vale of Wraiths" under pseudonym Gutter Grub.
In 2025, Foks Lo published her debut fantasy novel, Mind Lancer.
